Medication can be an important part of your mental health treatment plan. Dr. Russeth will work with you to find the right medication and dosage to manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.
If you're struggling with health, time management, career transitions, and personal growth, and wanting to make positive changes and achieve your goals, Dr. Russeth can help.
Navigating mental health is a complex journey, yet through the synergy of integrative psychiatry, there's an avenue to not only manage challenges but also to progress. Dr. Russeth crafts personalized integrative plans, fostering symptom management and empowering you to achieve your goals.
Integrative Treatment Modalities:
Treating mental health should go beyond symptom management and consider the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
-
Medication Management: As an integrative psychiatrist, I offer medication management when indicated and wanted by the patient. Medication is just one tool among many in the treatment toolbox, integrated with psychotherapy and other holistic interventions to address mental health concerns effectively.
-
Psychodynamic Therapy: Exploring unconscious processes, past experiences, and interpersonal dynamics to gain insight into patterns of behavior and foster lasting change.
-
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote healthier cognitive and emotional functioning.
-
Mindfulness-Based Interventions: Integrating mindfulness practices to cultivate present-moment awareness, enhance emotional regulation, and reduce stress.
-
Family Therapy: Working collaboratively with couples and families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.
-
Lifestyle Coaching: Recognizing the importance of lifestyle factors in mental well-being, I provide support in making positive changes in daily habits, such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Lifestyle coaching complements therapy and medication management to enhance overall well-being.
-
Advocacy and Collaboration: I believe in the importance of collaborating with other healthcare providers, schools, and institutions to ensure comprehensive care and support. I advocate for patients' needs and work alongside other professionals to address complex cases effectively.
-
Mind-Body Medicine: Integrating mind-body medicine techniques, I promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance self-awareness. Mindfulness practices and self-compassion meditation are utilized to support patients in their journey towards well-being.

Integrative Treatment with a Personal Touch

While various treatment modalities are available elsewhere, my approach goes beyond that. Yes, you could practice meditation or try different therapies elsewhere, but what I offer is the insight to understand why these might not be working as expected. For many, meditation can be challenging to engage with effectively. What sets my practice apart is the relationship I cultivate with you—a supportive connection that provides a gentle space to explore what might be hindering progress. Together, we navigate the intricacies that may obstruct your journey to well-being. It's not just about methods; it's about finding what truly works for you.
Appointment Types:
I prioritize spending time with my patients, actively listening, and involving them in the decision-making process. I have designed my appointments to allow for ample time to get to know your story, history, and identity, without being rushed.
My goal is to guide you towards positive change, fulfillment, and a clear path forward. Please note that I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance, however, I am able to provide patients with a superbill if they are eligible for out of network benefits.
Please note: my practice operates on a private pay basis,
offering personalized care without insurance restrictions.
I would be considered an out-of-network provider
and will not bill insurance directly, but
I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance
for partial reimbursement if you have a PPO.
